Creating Stand-alone Sales Quotation

To create new stand-alone Sales Quotation:

  1. Search for a customer by clicking the magnifying glass next to Customer input field and search by Customer Name. You may enter any value to filter the search or just leave it blank to search all. Then click the search button on the right side. This action will prompt the system to initiate the search process.

  2. After clicking the search button, all results are displayed below the Customer ID search criteria

  3. Select from search results. The customer search page will be automatically closed and notice that some information (e.g. Contact Person, Shipping Address, Billing Address, Currency, Exchange Rate and Payment Terms) from the customer will be inherited into the sales quotation.

  4. Search for a salesperson by clicking the magnifying glass next to Salesperson input field and search by Employee ID (or you may also use other search criteria). You may enter any value to filter the search or just leave it blank to search all. Then click the search button on the right side. This action will prompt the system to initiate the search process.

  5. After clicking the search button, all results are displayed below the Last Name search criteria

  6. Select from search results. The Employee search page will be automatically closed and Salesperson is displayed into the sales quotation.

  7. Select Date Needed and Valid Until date values from the date picker

  8. Scroll down to the item table grid. Click on the magnifying glass next to Product Category input field and provide any search criteria or just leave it blank to search all. Then click the search button on the right side. This action will prompt the system to initiate the search process.

  9. After clicking the search button, all results are displayed below. User must select from the search results.

  10. The product search page will be automatically closed, and the selected product is loaded in the Sales Opportunity page.

  11. User must provide a Quantity value.

  12. Click on the magnifying glass next to UOM input field.

  13. If the product has only one sales uom, this is automatically filled in by clicking the magnifying glass or by pressing the “enter” key in the field. Otherwise, user has to search for a UOM record.

  14. User may update the Price Level value. If the user selects Custom Price, then he must provide a corresponding Unit Price value. Otherwise, if Price Level is not Custom Price the Unit Price field is grayed and non-editable.

  15. User may also provide values on other optional fields. Click on Save to create new transaction in draft status.
